Spincasted Zinc

I used the vulcanizer I built to make a tough, high temperature silicone mold.  I used the mold in the spincaster I built, to cast this zinc light switch cover plate.  I used scrap zinc for this test.   There are some inclusions, because I used scap zinc, but thanks to the spincaster there are no shrink-shorts, despite the thin cross section of the casting.  Zinc really likes to shrink; see the big dimple in the vent riser of the zinc sand casting test I did.
